Welcome to Enhanced Education Group Mentorship Program!

Why Mentoring?

The growing practice of mentoring is a rewarding process. By sharing hands- on experience, mentors can help their mentees in discovering and developing their potential for positive impact in the society and simultaneously enabling the mentor to self-actualize. Mentoring provides a wide range of programs that enable mentors and their mentees to share in their experiences and knowledge and share the same basic vision of inspiring a generation.

Effective mentorship can take place in a wide variety of ways – in person, through the phone, via e-mail or fax, at the mentor’s or mentee’s facility or somewhere entirely different. Whichever the style and means of mentorship, some suggestions to help ensure the mentoring process is as effective as possible for both parties include:

  • Set practical goals – At every stage of the relationship, make sure the goals for both parties are clear and realistic and include timelines for meeting established benchmarks
  • Identify potential obstacles – Identify in advance any obstacles that could prevent the implementation of the established goals. Such obstacles might include limitations in time, organizational change, commitment issues and personality differences
  • Seek similar interests – Look into common interests that can bring the pair closer to enable a genuine relationship of trust and personal support
  • Plan a self-directed project – Self-directed projects provide an opportunity for the mentee to put what has been learned into place
  • Plan for change – In case of any changes in the mentorship program such as the mentor leaving the program due to changing jobs, documenting the processes and other information during the mentoring relationship to ensure that any changes won’t adversely affect the mentorship relationship.

Our group of mentors consist of engineers, doctors, artists, teachers, journalists etc so as to ensure the program is practical and of benefit to our mentees.

We provide high school guidance books written by respected authors who have excelled in their studies all the way from primary school to the University. HIGH SCHOOL PROGRAM
“True education does not only consist of acquiring knowledge from the books but also by development of character.”

We connect high school students with mentors who give advice and share their experience in a structured, focused and individual way. These interactions broaden the students’ knowledge on various career opportunities, critical subjects necessary to pursue their career, and strengthen the student’s professional networks.

The program not only enhances the academic ability of a student, but nurtures the career, personal psychosocial development of a student.

To participate you can either be ALUMNI of a school that you wish to return to and make an impact, or a corporate organization that wants to give back to the community they operate. Once a school is adopted, we customize the program together with you to ensure the program achieves the desired results/impact you would like to see. We then roll out the program together with you, and conduct periodical evaluations that are shared with you.

We also target pre-university students after finishing the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Examination (KCSE). The the time span between completion of KCSE and enrollment into campus is a critical point in one’s life. Talks and activities revolve around: Career guidance, Entrepreneurship sensitization, Inculcating spirit of volunteerism and Talent commercialization

YOUNG PROFESSIONALS (upcoming program)
This program will aim to link young professionals with experienced and master professionals. There has been a lot of complain about the universities and colleges churning out half-baked graduates. We aim to bridge that gap.

For example, connecting professional engineers with graduate or undergraduate engineers will go along in in instilling practical knowledge to the would be engineers same as connecting licensed lawyers with undergraduate lawyers. And so forth.

To see the coming generations of Kenyan citizens empowered, skilled and engaged in productive activities that will help in actualizing the country’s vision 2030 and beyond”

“Nurturing careers and personal psycho-social development of a student”
